Ready to book a performer with just a few clicks? 📅
That’s what our Direct Booking feature is all about! Available to venues, it’s as easy as ordering your morning coffee (well, maybe even easier!) 🎵
How It Works 🎸
- Finding Your Perfect Act See a performer you’d love to have at your venue? Just head to their profile and click that shiny “Direct Booking” button! (Psst… only venues can do this – it’s like a backstage pass just for you!)
- Pick Your Time Choose your date and time, and our system will do a quick availability check faster than a drum roll! 🥁 We’ll make sure both you and the performer are free for that slot.
- Send Your Request Add a friendly message to your booking request – maybe mention why you think they’d be perfect for your venue! Then hit send and wait for the magic to happen. ✨
- Attention Performers Any direct bookings which venues have sent to you will show up in your dashboard. Once you’ve had the chance to agree on everything, simply accept or decline.
Good To Know 🌟
- Only venues can initiate Direct Bookings. (Performers, you’ll need to wait for the venues to come to you!)
- Both calendars (for the venue and performer) are updated from the moment the booking is created.
- Sorry, no changes allowed. Should you need to change the date and time, you’ll need to cancel the current Direct Booking and then send a replacement. This has been done to avoid the chance of creating double-bookings.
- One time slot = one performer. (No double-booking allowed!)
- For multi-act events and festivals, we’ve got some exciting features planned for the future 🎪
The Money Talk 💰
While we’re here to help you connect and book gigs easier than tuning a guitar with an electronic tuner, we don’t get involved in your pricing negotiations – that’s your time to shine! Just remember to:
- Get everything in writing. (Verbal agreements are like writing lyrics in the sand.)
- Be clear about payment terms and timing.
- Include cancellation policies. (Because life does happen when you least expect it!)
- Specify what gear is provided. (So there’s no surprises come show day!)
