Your Profile Posts Tab: Where The Connection Happens! 🎭

Welcome to your personal broadcasting station! It’s now time to unlock the power of posting (and yes, the force is strong with this one!).

Here’s what you can share:

  1. Opportunity Posts (Venue Profiles Only)
    • Looking for talent? This is the bridge between talent and opportunity and is exactly where the magic happens!
    • Venues post opportunities as a way of getting the word out to performers that they’re in need of their talent.
    • Pro tip: Once applications start rolling in, your post becomes set in stone.
  2. Coming March-2025: Call Out Posts (For Everyone!)
    • Your megaphone to the GigBridge community.
    • Share news, seek collaborators, or announce your next big thing.
    • Edit anytime – because sometimes plans change!
  3. Coming Mid-2025: Classified Posts (Set to Go-Live after April) 🚀
    • Buy or sell sound, stage, and musical equipment.
    • Connect with others who speak the language of gear.
    • Keep it music-related, folks!

Cool Features to Know:

  • Venues with Light User Subscriptions are limited in the number of opportunities they can post in a given period.
  • For Call Outs or Classified listings, you can post as many as you like – no limits!
  • Your posts stay visible from start date to end date.
  • Direct contact only – reach out to the user directly to continue the conversation.
  • No, public comments cannot be left (these aren’t the posts you’re looking for… 😉)

Pro Tip: Due to their obvious complexity, Opportunities posted by venues work differently to Call Out and Classified posts. Should you need to edit an Opportunity post, like a good breakup, you’ll first need to ensure your Opportunity has no applicants! Once there are no applicants, your opportunity can then be edited / deleted. Should there by applicants, you’ll first need to decline any applicants in the list prior to being able to edit / delete your post. (This has been done so as to avoid any confusion, or creating double bookings!)
